I have been having a rough week, and then I remembered: it’s thursday.
I’ve been waiting for this chapter for a long while now, and it did not disappoint; Sylvia’s discovery of her sister’s death, the confrontation with Agafiya. You continue to weave beautiful imagery without confusing the reader, and I continue to enjoy the characters surrounding Summanus. I, for one, enjoy my conflicting feelings about Brass.
Rise, Summanus indeed. I’m right there with Laura on being on the edge of my seat.
Oh wow. Everything is coming to a head here. Could we be nearing the end of this book? It certainly feels climactic. I’m on pins and needles for the next chapter, as always!
