Like Laura said, the spelling out of the terrible power wearing Agafiya as little other than a puppet is chilling, given the display of power we’ve seen. And I have nothing but admiration for the deep and soulful manner you’ve depicted the powers that be at work.
The explanation from Mark as well, though it made no sense to Jenny, clarified my confusion with what was happening in the last chapter greatly.

Wow. That’s breathtaking. Jenny’s insight of the finger wearing Agafya’s corpse… a spirit of unmaking clad in a body of the dead about to do battle with a spirit of life clad in a body of the living. Powerful stuff.
I wonder how permanent that is for Sylvia.
